主讲人介绍:徐洪坤教授就职于杭州电子科技大学,主要从事非线性分析与优化领域的研究;早年博士毕业于西安交大,师从我国著名计算数学家游兆永教授;已入选两院院士 (南非科学院院士、发展中国家科学院院士)。
内容介绍:Halpern and extra-anchor (EA) methods are popular techniques in variational inequalities (VIs), minimax and fixed point problems (FPPs). EA can relax the monotonicity condition on the operator A that defines the variational inequality since even if A is linear, monotone, Lipschitz continuous in a finite-dimensional framework, the gradient projection method may fail to converge. Extra-gradient (EG) can however assure convergence. In addition, both EG and EA can also speed up the rate of convergence. In this talk we will discuss recent progresses in EG and EA for solving VIs, minimax, and FPPs.
